When the Hospice volunteer visited Jane and her family, she told them about some of the Bereavement Services that HPCM offered in Winnipeg including: three annual Bereavement Evenings, Bereavement Walking Groups and a Hospice Memory Tree."The bereavement evenings are compassionate, kind ways to help in the healing process," the volunteer explained to Jane. "People express their grief differently and many have difficulty sharing their feelings. These groups offer support, sensitivity and caring. Time is a wonderful healer; and the death of a loved ones, though not forgotten,becomes less painful.
